Meadowbrook Academy is currently seeking to hire a Kindergarten Teacher for our 19/20 school year.  Applicants should be able to provide with excellence,  an educational atmosphere in which kindergarten students will move toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth and maturation in accordance with Meadowbrook  Church & Academy’s philosophy, goals and objectives.

Additional job products  expected, but not limited to:

Planning / Preparation

  • Short and long-range plans have been created that supported student needs and met the Sunshine State Standards.
  • Instructional activities have been created that lead to meaningful learning experiences.  

Instructional Management

  • Accurate and efficient record keeping procedures have been established and were maintained in Edline and the gradebooks. (Edline and gradebooks).
  • Effective management of student behavior has been maintained by the use of school rules, administrative policies and procedures.

Assessment / Evaluation

  • Assessment strategies have been created to assist the continuous development of students.
  • Data has been interpreted and diagnosed. Instructional planning and program evaluation has been created based on the data.

Direct Services

  • Knowledge and understanding of subject matter content has been demonstrated.
  • Principles of learning and effective teaching methods has been applied that encouraged students to be actively engaged in the learning process.

Collaboration

  • Oral and written communication has been effectively demonstrated with other professionals, students, parents, and the community.
  • Collaboration has been done with peers that enhanced the instructional environment in the classroom setting.

Student Growth / Achievement

  • Student growth and achievement has been measured by the creation of programs that are continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.
